I've been doing a little maintenance on the forums and have made a few changes, mostly small and unnoticable. There are a few that you should know about though, including:
- Report a post
It can be difficult sometimes to monitor every post that is made to Realtalk ( we have lives too!). Therefore, you can now find a Report to moderator link at the bottom of each message. You can use this to report a message that you think breaches the site rules and it'll be fired off to the admin team by email for them to review. You'll need to supply a reason when reporting a message. This should allow us to keep on top of rogue posters a little easier, but please don't abuse this feature.
- Post / edit complete, view post or forum
When posting or editing a message, upon clicking the submit button you would be given the choice of either returning to the post or moving back to the forum. These links often didn't work properly and you would automatically be redirected back into the post after a few seconds. This should now be fixed and I've also increased the delay before being automatically moved.
- Realtalk Stats
At the bottom of the main forum index you'll find a small stats section. If you click the More Stats link, you'll be taken to another page containing a few statistics you might be interested in. These include most read posts, and highest posting users. If you can think of others you'd like to see, let me know.
