Touche Delta. LOL.

I meant in the economy cabin Delta,...maybe about 10, more space for larger seats, minus the extra frills of First class... but a little more expensive than the normal seats,...that would satisfy everybody.? ? ?

There are some airlines that have introduced a new class now, which is called "premium economy" . It seems to be somewhere in between the standard ecomomy ( what I call " cattle class" ) and Business Class. . Evidently they have the advantage of having much roomier seats with more reclineability, and more leg room etc. They also have some other, , but not all of the extras of Business Class. There are about 25 seats held for this 'premium' class. ( Or is it "Premier Class?" one or 'tother anyway) I know that Air NZ has them on long haul flights, and Virgin Airlines do also. I am sure there are probably others who do too.
I have been looking into the "ins and outs " of everything quite recently because of course I and other family members will be going abroad in a few months myself . I decided that I just couldn't justify spending that extra amount so It will be cattle class for me again I'm afraid.

The airlines suggests people who invade a second seat need to buy that seat. That's fine with me. To avoid the embarrassement I'd be willing to do that. However, there are a vast majority of over weight people who could not afford to do that, and in those cases, the airlines will loose those customers.
The bottom line is, the airlines needs to provide wider seats at a "bit of a higher price", to cover their costs and keep their customers.

We need more leg room, at 5'9" I find it tight, my hubby is over 6' and it's can be bloody uncomfortable if the fight is too long.

airlines should provide more space instead of being so greedy, wether you are fat or thin you should have enough space to be comfortable.
