There are some airlines that have introduced a new class now, which is called "premium economy" . It seems to be somewhere in between the standard ecomomy ( what I call " cattle class" ) and Business Class. . Evidently they have the advantage of having much roomier seats with more reclineability, and more leg room etc. They also have some other, , but not all of the extras of Business Class. There are about 25 seats held for this 'premium' class. ( Or is it "Premier Class?" one or 'tother anyway) I know that Air NZ has them on long haul flights, and Virgin Airlines do also. I am sure there are probably others who do too.
I have been looking into the "ins and outs " of everything quite recently because of course I and other family members will be going abroad in a few months myself . I decided that I just couldn't justify spending that extra amount so It will be cattle class for me again I'm afraid.
