I have my own ideas on this middle eastern war and I don't believe the USA is in it alone backing Israel. Tony Blair I wouldn't trust him anymore than I would Hitler who by the way wasn't a Christian. Maybe in name only and the world is full of them. As for Israel, weather anyone wants to admit it, They are Gods Choosen people, and they will be the last nation standing in the end. They have been fighting over there ever since Moses brought them out of Egypt, and will continue to. The ones that are truly suffering is the Children, wives, parents, and Loved ones who try to exist from one day to the next. Do we hear of any care packages going over there to help with feeding them, or sending medical supplies, I sure haven't, and I don't mean to just Israel either but to just the people who are hungry, sick, hurt or needs food. Why can't they just stop and look around and see what a beautiful countries they are destroying and if they want to help out their fellowman go after Ben Laden. I'm sure some knows where he is too but won't betray him, instead they go for the Innocent. Sorry I got carried away, and after reading all the post, it just didn't make sence. Thank you for letting me sound off been a ruff day. Later.

We seem to forget these are not a forgiving people --they are both Old Testament people they truly believe in an eye for an eye & a tooth for a tooth. --your Christian teachings mean nothing to them.
Both faiths claim to descend from Abraham.
The sons of half brothers.
They believe they are following the edicts of their God when they launch a missile & drop a bomb--- or if they are too poor strap on dynamite & nails.
Their God has told them to kill or be killed.
Read your Old Testament & the Koran but if you do so try to read it without considering it the word of a God just as an old book & see how you regard the Characters of that book.

Im so glad i dont believe in any god/gods, it seems to me relegion can cause trouble. I had the Jehohvas Witnesses at the door yesterday, even though i have a little sign up asking them not to call! funnily enough their relegion doesnt cause any trouble, its everyones elses. I dont know why people just cannot get on and sit down and talk about things. Oh and the other big thing in war!!! money, The 1st world war could have ended much earlier but the big wigs wanted to make more money and death and destruction makes people rich. Over 20 children have been slaughtered this morning in Lebanon, surely the people who send the bombs can direct them away from civilians, they have the know how. Sorry to all the religious ladies i dont mean to offend, your religious beliefs are precious to you. even though i dont believe in the devil, i surely believe in evil and at the moment all i see are evil things happening. Forgiven google "Hitler" and you will find out he was a practising christian. I dont think its the end of the world, they thought that way back during the cold war, but it will get worse i bet before it gets better. Who ever side we are on, really does it matter when innocent men women and children are losing their lives

Religion isn't the reason for these wars, anymore than America invaded Iraq to protect it's citizens (not if it's also okay to watch Israel deliberately target innocents) Oh No. Religion is the EXCUSE. The reasons are far more based in earthly matters. It's cause and effect, pure and simple, there have been many mistakes made that have lead to this, many times things could have been turned around but weren't and never for reasons as noble as religion. Does anyone truly believe that the Middle East nations would have come looking for westerners to blow up without reason or because the Qu'ran disagree's with Christianity? Terrorism in this case is an act of desperation, an evil act and unforgivable but worst of all, could have been avoided with long sighted common sense instead of greed.

still blame relegion myself, and greed, but thats just my opinion. I watched a programme about British muslims, some of it had been filmed undercover, and quite a few men, wanted the UK to be a muslim state, and they hated all the other relegions etc etc, we were infidels, is that the right word? these men were quite scarey and im sure their views were not the views of most law abiding muslims. I suppose its fanatacism im more scared of. Well at least the Lebonese have 48 hours to get out of their villages before they are bombed, thats so kind of Isreal.
