I needed comforting yesterday after a trip to the supermarket for a very small 'shop' cost me over $130 bucks. The prices seem to have gone up even more during the past 7 weeks - on all fresh meat, eggs, and fruit and veggies.
Ooooh but it was good to go home with a loaf of lovely Vogels though.. and a bag of kumara among other goodies.
Faye, great to see you have got yourself settled into your new residence and that sound very pleased and happy with your new situation . May you and your DH have a very settled and comfortable future there, and hopefully, way out of the range of any more earthquakes !
