I would never advise anyone to use reductil, ive got heart problems because of it , and take tablets now to control the problems it gave me! If anyone is thinking of using it beware, it can and has killed people.

I was on Reductil last year for a short time and had a very increased heart rate a lot of the time ( 108 a min sitting at my desk calling customers, not all that strenuous :!: :!: :!: ) I wasn't at all happy and was scared of heart attack or stroke so went off it. I had been on it a couple of years before and don't recall it having the same effect but had been on the lower dose first before going up to the higher dose which is where I started the next time. My Dr looked quite bemused hock: when I told him I had stopped taking it but did listen to my heart and couldn't pick up any irregularity. I won't be taking it again and would suggest to anyone thinking of taking it not to and to look at other options.

Jess sorry to hear of your problems, im really amazed at your Drs response though, my Dr wont even prescribe slimming pills to anyone now, because of the problems i had, its well documented on the internet about people losing their lives and having problems with reductil.

I HAVE TO DISAGREE, I THINK REDUCTILL IS FANTASTIC. BUT IM SURE IT1S NOT FOR ALL. I TOOK IT AND LOST 25 KG WENT FROM 112KG TO 86KG SURE I HAD INSOMNIA AND MY HEART RATE WENT UP A BIT AND I HAD A BIT OF ANIXTY .BUT I DID CHANGE MY LIFE STYLE I STARTED TO EXERCISE AND EAT BETTER STILL HAVING CHOC BUT REALLY MAKING THE EFFORT TO CHANGE.
I WENT OFF IT AND STAYED THE SAME WEIGHT FOR AWHILE AFTER PUTTING BACK ON 4KG FROM NOT WAIKING AS MUCH DUE TO A BAD LEG I HAVE NOW GONE BACK ON IT AND ALL IS GOING WELL AS LONG AS I EXERSIZE. THAT I FOUND IS THE KEY THING IF I DON`T NO WEIGHT COMES OFF SO I GUESS THE OLD SAYING GOES YOU HAVE TO BURN MORE THAN YOU EAT.

Am shocked to see Reductil still being advertised TV...
