Hey Luana it is so good to hear you sound so happy! - you have come such a long way girl. Good on you. So glad for you. And what a great achievement - 20kg off in 3 mths, AND healthier as well.

Quayken -good luck with Sureslim though I don't like your chances of a refund. I had heard that a lot of Sureslim offices are closing.

Luana You are doing great!!
I know what you mean with the breathing while swimming.
I have to do most of my swimming on my back & in the beginning when I did a length I stood at the end & heaved for breath for ages.

3 yrs down the track I can swim a length over arm & just take a few seconds to get my breath back ---but I still can' t manage a full 2 lengths over arm without running out of puff.

I can now swim 1km on my back in 35 to 40mins. Oh that's with flippers on.
Good for the thighs flippers.
I have a bathing suit with a big skirt on it ---looks like an old style tennis dress

To kill time try working it to death.

havent been in a while.. i've been busy!

Oh man the day after my swim, oh my gosh my muscels (espesically my butt cheeks) were sore. From all that kicking. So i thought i would leave a the mo, as it did play some havoc on my lower back. to much movement, twisting, kicking. So i'm going to stick to my cardo and weight training. i'm feeling so much better and man my leg pants are falling off me. Have to keep pulling my pants up! time to get me some new pants.

I do wish i had a walking buddy or something. i have such a beautiful area to live in but no one to walk the streets with.

How is everyone else doing?

it sure has been cold lately!

At the moment i like my veges, yes veges.. brussel sprouts, cabbage, brocilli (sp) cauli flour (boiled) and i have honey mustard with chicken. I yet to try the new steam bags from GLAD as it look so easy to cook a good meal! i cant wait!

so whats new?

Heck Luanna, you have come a long way. Well done! Can you walk during the daylight instead? If you can, perhaps you could have headphones and whatever noise machine suits you? I almost always walk by myself and actually I think prefer this, as it gives me a chance to think. But I do know many people prefer company.

Yum, the list of veg sounds great. I am thinking of buying a steamer to use over a pot - sounds good to me.
