My idea of the ultimate in exercise for a big lass with no sense of balance.
Out in the fresh air going flat out enjoying Mother nature.

You peddle as far as you can then switch on the electric motor & glide home.
You have to live in the UK to get one though

To kill time try working it to death.

You need trainer wheels, Fey Hag. Just the business. We can't have you cheating and turning the motor on for the trip home. I still haven't quite got you sussed out but are you mentioned in a very famous Beatles song? (La la la la la la la!) Just like I am in another franglais Beatles number.

Actually, I think I might get a pogo stick. Everytime I see Grace's Avatar, I think of a pogo and even though Grace thinks it looks a bit rude, I think that might well be what makes it look so appealing to me. That pogo- ing and/or whatever it reminds Grace of, is real good exercise. Think that is when my weight started to creep up. ... when the pogo -ing became nogo-ing. Keep doing it girls, it burns lots of calories and if it makes you work up an appetite, then get up and a drink a long tall glass of water. They say that is good for you too.

Any exercise is good. With the heat and the huge distances and lack of any public transit here, you have to drive everywhere. Being used to at least walking to the end of the road, I found this really hard.
So, in order to 'move it' I..er... well never mind that.. we were talking about walking weren't we  yes...hmm.
Parking as far away (except during 120 degree weather) from stores or buildings as possible. At the supermarket take back the trolley. Take the stairs rather than the elevator. In the heat of the summer I go out shopping at night. Huge big box stores are great in the summer as are shopping malls - you can walk in cool air conditioned bliss and there is lots of stuff to see. (big stores and malls were built for walking not for shopping in - did anyone else know that I find the treadmill is boring even though we have a tv in the workout room. The best exercise of all is dance. Loud fabulous music is a must!!! Its not about losing weight so much as being strong and supple and fit. So..if you can move it... move it. I know people who say that if they cannot devote an hour a day to exercise which extends them and maintain that level for the whole time, they dont bother. That is BS...its better to do some exercise than none at all. A mix of aerobic, strengthening and stretching exercises can make you feel so much more energised. Riding a bike..walking, dancing, running, leaping about, sex, leaping about, jumping, skipping, shopping, sex, more shopping.. all great workouts for the female body!!!!

Oh my goodness, Kkkkkkkkkkk-katy, I'm never going to be able to look at tigger bouncing in a pure way ever again. Whenever I watch the Tigger movie with my daughter I'll be thinking of you and your 'pogo'...! "What are you laughing at, Mum?" (I'm not going to get rid of the avatar though, well, not yet anyway!).

Actually, KKKKKK-Katy, I found the perfect avatar for your friend FloraDora. It was a slightly older, slightly chubby fairy holding a magic wand and it made me think of her straight away. Pity she's not around any more, I miss her happy stories that made me laugh - I hope she bounces back to her old self soon, 'cos we miss her when she's not herself... do ya think some HUGS would help?
