Re: Lower Back Pain - just doing a moan really:( 5 Years, 9 Months ago

Not all chiropractors practice "twist and crunch", there are some good ones out there that use activators. My Chiro is heavily into fitness, promotes the local gym and supports with nutritional info. He also just referred a friend back to her doctor, explaining that he could not help in her particular instance. Regardless of what practitioner we use, we should all take time to research them individually.

I am really just bringing this up again for the attention of Ellieann. Wondering how you, and your back is doing Ellieann, you have been keeping a low profile lately. Are you OK ?
Delta thank you re yr comments re chiropractors in opposition to Anonymous who has a talent for making wide sweeping statements and never misses an opportunity to tell us all to loose weight as a cure for all our health problems. I would certainly not call my chiropractor a quack or say that he practices quackery, even though a few years ago I may have been among the first to push that opinion without prior experience even. I have since learned not to be so arrogant! Earlier this year I felt terrified to go to the Chiropracter that my GP recommendedm but now.. since he relieved me of the most excruciating pain and got my mobile again in what was a relatively short time considering the agony I was in, I can only praise him and there was absolutely no quackery involved at all. The exercise regime he taught me has been extremely helpful and although now painfree I continue to follow his recommendations and my back is feeling great. Ellieann, I hope that you are also recovered by now too.
