me neither, usually, Ellie. But I do like a bit of lippy if I'm going out out. Dark lippy and eyeliner and mascara and foundation, all that jazz.

Kate, itz no good trying a new lippy on your hand. Take a tissue with you, wipe the
tester really well, and try it on your lips. Then wipe the tester clean again.Your lips are
a lot different in colour and texture, so can't give you a good colour example.
Pretty knowledgeable eh, for someone who is now allergic to lippys, ever since I did
the menopause dance. But, I used to be a beautician. Among other things. Jackie of
all trades, me.

Like Chief Bumper-upper today aye Jackie!
I have to say that there are some of who are beautiful enough without the use of any artificial enhancements, but sadly, I am not, and never have been , one of them. I have always believed that the help of cosmetics was definitely enhancing for me personally, although now I am older I am begining to accept that I am actually beyond that sort of help anymore, and that in fact, unless I am very, very careful about the way
I use them, they (cosmetics) can have the opposite effect. Nothing worse than an overmade up old tart aye ! I would still feel a little 'undressed' if I was to go out without any lippy on though.
Ellie you have got such a gorgeous complexion that I agree - you do not need any unnatural enhancements at all. However, the moisturise you have used through the years, has obviously cared for your skin beautifully. I kid you not when I say that your complexion is that of a much , much younger woman so good for you ! Which one do you use , by the way ?

I think the less expensive ones work just as well as the more expensive ones. I usually wear CoverGirl, Mabelline, or Avon.

When I wear lipstick I:
1. Start with clean, dry lips.
2. Then I line my lips with a lip pencil that matches my lipstick.
3. Apply 1 coat of lipstick with a lip brush and then blot lightly with tissue and then apply a second coat of lipstick blot again and then a light dusting of translucent powder.

It is really nice trips i regular use it.Thanks for sharing with all ladies.

Hey Katy thank you! I didnt see your post asking what moisturiser I used. I actually dont moisturise much but I know that I should! I actually hate the smell of most moisturisers!!! Brown skin hides my imperfections, lucky me When I remember, I just use whatever is on the shelf - at the moment its cocoa butter and cream, hate the smell of that one too!

Tamara, I'm not really getting your posts???
