My Mum found a few greys in my head when I was 8 or 10.

As up to three hairs can grow from each follicle, there may be some truth in that statement Fatchic!

My hair was always so black, that colouring it, never *took*, so I gave up after a few tries in my youth!!!

Since then, I have allowed it to grow old gracefully, as nature intended for us.

I hate to see older women with that flat dyed look, with ugly white regrowth, yuk.

When they decide that enough is enough,...wow the shock of being white is too much for them.

Maybe I had better just run along the length of them with an indelible marker pen instead and hope that this is just an isolated case then Lucky.
I don't want to encourage a whole crop of them just yet.

I don't mind my grey hairs (actually they are white) but it's having white hairs in my previously dark eyebrows that I hate. Not only are they white but they are sticky-up ones and will not lie flat. I've tried tweezing them out but there are more and more of them. Maybe it's time to give up and stop looking in the mirror, settle for having a couple of furry caterpillars above my eyes.

Haha ! Furry caterpillars ! Well so long as they do not drop down and make themselves at home beneath your nose and over your upper lip Faye - and metamorphasise into being a mowstache. When I see old ladies with a mowstache, I always wonder if they always had one and have just to where they can't be bothered any more with beauty treatments, or is it something that older women have to look forward to ? I heard that hair thins out but for some it seems to grown more prolifically on the face . Shock ! Horror !
There is something wrong with that mowstache ? mustache ? mostache,? I know there is. I never got any diplomas for spelling at school.

Thank gawd for waxing!!! I reckon that after menopause most of the hair drops out from below and grows outta yer face...

I snip those long eyebrows Faye, have to now, they resmeble my father's wiry long tendrils almost otherwise. I have always had tri coloured eyebrows even before they sprouted those beantalks, caterpillers...? My mother never had them.

Age seems to toughen up the female body in many places by losing so much estrogen. NOT fair Mother Nature..

PULeese don't let that happem to me. My Dad's eyebrows go right over the bridge of his nose and meet in the middle like an M - Mot so pointy . When they were going gray and were black and grey together, my Shelley when she was little said they looked like a sea gull flying .
They do too .
