Personally, kkk-katy, I think inner beauty is far more important than outer beauty. I think actors like Maggie Smith and Judi Dench are far more beautiful than their airbrushed, botoxed, cosmetic surgeried counterparts in the USA. In fact in the USA you probably wouldn't be allowed in the movies unless you conformed to a certain image. Diane Keaton was gorgeous in "As Good As It Gets", the movie she appeared in with Jack Nicholson but was she real :?: I doubt it I think all this modern fascination with staying young looking forever is nothing but superficial claptrap:!:

Agree wholeheartedly AJ.. how'd you guess that Maggie Smith and Judi Dench are high on my list of beautiful people too... and such brilliant actors!. My son, who is a very avid movie goer and who has the effrontery to tell me that he does not like Judi Dench as an actress, actually emailed me the other day to tell me that he watched and thoroughly enjoyed Judi Dench in "Mrs Henderson Presents." He said, "You are going to just LOVE this movie mum, it is a must see!" Then he added, "It was so good, that I now agree entirely with your opinion of Judi Dench." Can't wait... don't think it has been here yet , has it? Please don't tell me I have missed it anyone!. Now I am just doing a little experiment with colour and font..

Mrs Henderson Presents has just started here in Christchurch in the last couple of weeks so I don't think you have missed it yet. I want to see it as well. As for font and colour etc remember that you need to highlight the text you want to play with.

Oh yes, Judi Dench and Maggie Smith are a whole lot more beautiful than the Barbie look-alikes coming out of Hollywood. Has everyone seen "Ladies in Lavendar"? I loved it - though it must be said, I'm an old softy - you young things may like a bit more action in your movies.

There's a book in the shops at the moment called "Japanese Women Don't get Old or Fat" - I think that's the title - correct me if I'm wrong. What I want to know is, why any woman would follow an eating regime designed to prevent her getting old - the alternative doesn't appeal to me one helluva lot - not for a good few years yet anyway. :wink:
