Hear, Hear FH.. never a truer word. I reckon my feet had to have been the most neglected part of me, and it wasn't until a few years ago when they started protesting bitterly by becoming very painful, and uncomfortable, that I started to take more notice of them. I wish I had been more caring of them earlier as I hobble my way through my middle years . Good fitting shoes are so important but how often did we choose the shoes we bought more for their looks than the feel of them ? Too often in my own case anyway. Not any more though. For this old girl, comfort takes precedence over all else now.

Well definately not by type of shoes........might be ok for the over 80's

I doubt it Petal ! How many women over 80 do you know who would be needing tramping boots - or joggers ?
Funny how all these people who come on here pedalling their wares, are pedallers. And not one them has led me to one site that has smart, elegant , dressy shoes that I would wear with a lovely feminine outfit to a wedding or special party or function.
They are all either sports shoes or Clod- hoppers . Do they think that just because we are big, we don't do ' dressy "?
