Don't recoil in horror when I type the words "THE WAREHOUSE"!! I love shoes and have a wide foot. I want some trendy but comfy shoes (because it's winter, they need to be comfy and weather resistant, sort of, if you know what I mean?!)... anyhoo: The Warehouse have a range of "Casual Comforts" (or something similar, sorry can't remember right now - it's 3.29AM!!!) - and a FEW of the styles are REALLY nice! AND go up to size 10/11/12. Some of the styles are more wider than others. But they're affordable and very comfortable. I bought 2 pairs and every time I wear them, people comment how kool they are! If you're ever in Coastlands Shopping Mall, Paraparaumu, both the two shoe shops inside the Mall (not Hannahs/not No. 1 Shoes) stock many styles of wider fitting shoes. And GUBBS in Wellington are fab too. You just have to check out all speciality shoe shops. Good luck. Jx

Hi my sister uses willow shoes for her work shoes and occasions, they are pricey but she loves it. There is a cheaper alternative if you like? In Otahuhu (sth Auckland), when I say cheap, I mean $20 for a pair of size 10, 11, 12 women's shoes, they are called Harry's but, if you walk up and down the main street in Otahuhu you will find many shoe stores that cater to plus size ladies at rock bottom prices. Of course the price reflects the quality, but I have a pair of white heels which I wore once a week at least when I was in the work force and I still have them and have had them for nearly 2 years and they are in great nick.

Bugger the athletic shoes... I would rather have an athletic man myself - there are chores to be done around here, and I can't flaming well do them myself. What I want is an athletic fella, with a good soul, instead of a long lasting sole to shimmy up my chimney to start off with, and stop it from banging away in this wind . Hehe..
