The fashion gene .... 6 Months, 1 Week ago
... passed me by.

Some women just have style, they always look great. I friend of mine can put things together, she doesn't spend a lot of money but always looks fantastic, me jeans, shorts, tee-shirts .... hopless.

It does not have to hopeless. I have to dress suitably for business, but outside of work I practically live in casual denims , and T shirts etc.
You can still look great in casual wear. Dressing to the lifestyle you live is what it should be all about really

My fashion gene just got up and left too. Nowadays I just wear pants, tops and jackets. Hate dresses. Occasionally (very) I wear a skirt.

I dress in shorts and tees for uni but for official business I know how to dress up but not ott. I like to wear things that match my salt and pepper hair. But I wouldn't call what I wear fashionable. I haven't worn a dress for years!! I do have a favourite (and only) skirt but I have to wear exercise pants underneath incase it blows up!! Windy Wellington killed it for me.

True that! I didn't even care how I looked for the longest time, but now that I DO care how I look, I don't really care what other people think of me so much as what I think of MYSELF. I love bright colours and belts and all kinds of things, and I don't even care whether other people think I should be "standing out" or not. That's just how *I* roll!
