Just thought I would share this poem I wroye many years ago when pantyhose first came out.
The Kiwi Amazon
Why don't they take me seriously?
I know I'm six feet tall
Built like an All Black forward
But inside I'm not like that at all
I want to melt into the crowd
Be just a timid soul
Be the dainty little fairy
And play a helpless role.
The day that tights were invented
I was filled with joyous glee
No more bending over
With stocking tops still at my knee.
But six foot people with three foot legs
Don't hold much hope at all,
For tights don't always fit them
Why am I so darned tall?
The pantie part starts just at the knee
To pull them up I've tried.
That's why I look so funny
When about to take a stride.
Hey why am I so grouchy?
It doesn't matter at all
Head and shoulders above the rest,
I love it - I'm six feet tall!
