Erin depends how tight a budget you are on. My daughter is used to booking business visitors to HK now and usually they are not that limited by budget. When she was working in Europe she used to do a lot more tourist type bookings and she said there is a rent room style accomodation which the swiss used a lot so it would have to be very clean and was available short or long term, with serviced or non serviced rooms. All had ensuites and it was central and very reasonable in price. She has never stayed there herself though, that is the only thing, but she never heard any complaints either. If you are looking for budget accomodation, just make sure that it has aircon because some don't and it is pretty essential for comfort there. Also check on the distances from airport, and rail transport and the Star Ferry terminal too. You might find cheaper accomodation and find you are paying out heaps more to sightsee and get around. This place is just of Nathan Rd which is one of the main drags. Have a look at
www.rentaroomhk.com. We will have to get together soon so you can tell us all more!
