PP, I am ashamed to say I didn't even notice the artwork on display, I must say, apart from the lovely Ora garden, I thought it was a bloody cheek for them to charge $5 for entry. Mind you, Napier Museum charges $7.50. It very much made me appreciate how much value we get for our $5 up here at Auckland Museum, which after all, is about 100x the size of these little places.

Chookie your right I do need a few more history lessons. I had no idea how modern the country of NZ was or yours either. All I can picture is for NZ is the fish boats coming in and the men so bone tired and not really modern homes or stores but lots of fish markets sorta like China town in Frisco and I wouldn't eat there if they paid me. Not after seeing whole ducks, pigs, and other things hanging in the shops windows. And for Aust, well i'm sorry but I didn't really see it but as desert with wild animals running around like the Roos, lions, gariffs and of such. See as I said I've never been out of the USA. ....... I know ....sad.... BUT..... a light comes through as I read more and more and see pictures of what its like over there and I Love it......Later.... LOL....

Cripes, imagine it! The Auckland RW on tour NZ would have to brace themselves.

And I was thinking it is about time for another coffee meeting too. I've been popping in and out, just had lots going on. And being too lazy to post anything .

Why don't we organise one for the next couple of weeks? Is there anything on at the Lido? Then we could do our movie and dinner night that we planned oh so long ago.

Wow CC, where do we start.

Kangaroos perhaps? Forgiven, we only see kangaroos on the very outskirts of the cities, or in zoos.
Adelaide (capital of South Australia) has a population of around 1 million, it is considered a city.
Australia is as technologicallly advanced as USA, and is also the same size as the mainland of USA. It's total population is around that of New York. Most of the population lives near the coast. How's that for a start?
