You go Girl! Make it happen. I agree that you have to be fit enough to do the work when travelling though. It certainly makes things a lot easier.

I would like to spend several months doing our own country thoroughly from top to bottom and especially the South Island. We got a camper van with that in mind , a few years ago but my husband snores so very badly that I couldn't get a wink of sleep so we tend not to go too far in it . Need to come home every 3 -4 days to catch up on my zzzzz'z .

Maybe you could put hubby in a tent...Have you tried earplugs? Has he tried a decent snoring device? http://aveotsd.com/ Check this out: they are meant to be really good. I suspect that if I ever meet another bloke who is mad enough to want to share my bed that I will be using one of these myself as I am a snorer, damn it!

Have just made my bookings to go to UK in May. My purse feels a lot lighter already, and not a cent has been paid over yet. Scary.. have to pay in 7 days. Oh well....... I have got such mixed feelings about this . The last time ...well, every other time I have been there, I had my DH with me. There will be a lot of old memories revisited on this trip .
There are some good deals on at the moment though, if anyone is thinking of flying anywhere soon...

Missed this thread when it started.

My answer is NZ of course. They say you can see the whole world in NZ and of course there is most of you lot.

Having just got home yesterday, I have to say that it is great to be back ! LOL...
I have only been 'up' this morning for a couple of hours, and I am already looking forward to snuggling down in my very own wonderful beddy- byes again tonight !
In the words of the song.. "Gee it's great to be back home again ! "
Of course... we'd all love to see you come this way too Delta... AND - the best part is that it is only a wee little short flight across the ditch !
Oh my... those long hauls, knock the stuffing outa me !.
