Where are you going next? 8 Months ago  
We hope to do the Great Ocean Road, for those elsewhere that is from Adelaide to Melbourne along the coast, very rugged and wild and windy and windy (bendy and blowy). Will only have 2 weeks off next year.

Ellieann that would be fabulous, it travels through our nearest large town Port Pirie. We are just 40Ks from that line, our town is on the Indian Pacific Line. Tony used to work on the Ghan line when he was young.

In the last two months I saw two different tv shows that featured the Ghan and it sounds like a great trip. Wow, 40km from doesnt sound that far away in desert terms does it? Would it be too far fetched to think we could get to meet up somehow during that trip? I dont even know when yet but its an exciting thought isnt it?

The Ghan starts in Adelaide and it's first stop is in Port Augusta, I am 3 hours from Adel and 1.5 hours from "Port Augutta" as some of us say it. You let me know when you are doing the trip and I will meet you at one of those places.
