And www.search4jobs.co.nz too. Then I see that you are also considering ACC Case Manager job. I have taken up a government job for the first itme in the last year. Compared to a lot of the c..p that happens out in private enterprise, it is heaven. Well, good anyway. The workers do work, but they are able to be off when they are sick, no-one screams at them, sets impossible demands, tells them that "I don't care how you do it, or how long it takes, but we need that by tomorrow morning first thing" (stayed up literally all night for that one).

AJ, after 30 years working, you might find ACC a pleasant change from what you have put up with before. And you can't change / improve the whole system, but you might be able to influence for improvement at the office where you work (if there is a problem there).
