LJ and Artichoke,
Have you guys revamped your resume for each position that you apply for? I know that many employers now have an applicant tracking software that makes the efficiency and results of the talent acquisition process easier. It typically searches for keywords stuffed in resumes. So if you just have a general resume, and you haven't put the keywords in that the employer has specified in their wanted advertisements, your resume typically gets overlooked.

Thanks for the suggestion Annabelle, but I am happy to report that I have been successful in getting myself another job starting on Monday. It is even a little better paid than previous one so I am very pleased with myself. It means having to drive to another small town but I can also car share with another worker that goes from here daily to do the same hours. I am really stoked.

Thanks Lucky.
I have been busy since going back to working full time again. I have not been here as much but it is nice to come and find your good wishes in with all of that other crappy stuff. Does this site often get done over like this then?
My new job is going better now that I am getting the hang of it all. My day is a bit longer but the people are nice, and I enjoy working better than being a house worker .
I might look in from time to time but I was surprised to see so little of noteworthy input since I was last in.
I used to go to another site that got taken over by spammers too.

True Artichoke,..there's good & bad in all situations, even here.

We have survived more than 11 years here, through ups & downs,...but ain't nobody going to ruin this site for loyal members,...we just keep on keeping on.

One member can even turn it around & spam the spammers ! ! !

Besides, eventually,..they get banned by the owner moderator.
