Dee you sound as if you are planning a great time.

I went to Sydney with my daughter for Easter 2006, and we had a ball. The train system there is magic. On the first day I bought a $49 (then) 3 (?) day train pass for us each, so we could just keep jumping on and off trains. And the centre of the city is actually not that far from anything, including the Opera House.

It is worth having a look around The Rocks area too. There is also Paddington Market (indoors and enormous) and heaps of other places to see and go to.

There are maps and shopping and site seeing booklets at the airport when you arrive (make sure you look around fro all the free maps and booklets in the airport arrivals hall).

You should be able to look up the place you staying on a map on the internet, and then see where you can reach.

2 weeks to go now. Have been sorting things to take and the family have been putting in orders for things they want me to bring back. Looking forward to some slightly warmer nights.
