I'm off on a solo road trip, in the first week of the school holidays. Hugely excited about it all, and wondering if you gals could add your two cents please about places to go, things to see. This is my itinerary..........Day 1 - Auckland to Napier via Taupo (pit stops already sorted out for that day).... 2nd Day - Napier to Wellington via Manawatu Gorge....Days 3,4 ,and 5 in Welly (that bit's sorted, too).......Day 6 - Wellington to Opunake........Day 7 - Opunake to Te Kuiti........Day 8 - Te Kuiti to Auckland. So that's it, really. Suggest away!
