[b]Well, I have been given quite "a thrashing" by my friend CC, (Cyberchook) due to the fact that I introduced myself earlier with no flair and with no personality...in my first posting EVER here in realwoman. First off, I was not sure "where" to post as there are so many options. Secondly, I am home, on my back with some sort of lousy "inner ear" thing, but alas, no sympathy from dear CC
I am mustering all of my energy to be fun and enthusiastic right now, so some one of you doesn't send me a scathing note telling me how horribly boring I am.
My name is Jill. I love about 50 miles west of Chicago in what is called The Fox River Valley area. The Fox River flows right through the middle of town. I am 64 years old and have been married for 43 years. Dh and I have four children, a son, and three daughter. Our daughters are all married with children. We have six grandchldren. Our son is "involved: with a gal, so we are all secretly walking around with our fingers crossed that "she will be the one". We shall see, what we shall see.
Well, that's pretty much it. I am interested in travel, art, cooking, and family. Not necessarily in that order. I look forward to getting to know many of you and hope you feel the same.
Well, I am thrilled to have been accepted into this wonderous group, and hope to share some fun with many of you. I have not scanned the names and states/countries of all of your members yet. I did notice a few New Zealanders and a few of CC's cohorts from OZ however.
I look forward to chatting with you.
JILL
