Hello All

Just joined this group and wanted to say hi. I am a 43 yo woman, married and have 5 children. I am always searching for appropriate sites to join to enable me to communicate my feelings and to also hear from other like minded people out there. I was working full time but from this monday will be working four days a week. I am morbidly obese ++++ and am finding things very difficult to say the least. My quality of life is diminishing however I remain ever hopeful that one day my brain will get the power to control my over eating and therefore allow me to reclaim my life. I hope this is not too much information for a 'first date'

Welcome Biggirl, Like you, I am obese too, but I'm far from morbid about it, LOL.

I spent all my childhood fat & teased about it, then all my adulthood on one diet or another to remain reasonably slim. Eventually, all that yo yo dieting had an adverse effect on me, & the

......outcome was I became fat again.

We all come in different sizes, shapes, colours, creeds, & nationalities, so happily accept yourself as your husband & children who love you.

Thanks to all who have extended the hand of friendship, it's nice to meet you I am just back from a weeks holiday and I trying to get organised before work on monday but I feel that I am not ready to return to the daily grind, at least not for another 3 weeks at least But return I must so I can earn enough to go on holiday again
It is so cold here and I am so over it, looking forward to the summer weather again, even if we do get 45 + days. I am hoping to talk to even more people once I get known on the site.

I'm just new as well and trying to find my way around the site. I'm a 61 year old working woman and my 4 children have all flown the nest. Don't call yourself morbidly obese you are a person not a reference from a Dr's surgery - surely they can find a better (nicer) way of saying large. Would love to chat with you anytime.
