Oh.. no such luck Forgiven !
Nice to see you back Nikita and welcome your return to the group after your wee absence . You were missed. Some people we would be better off without, but you are not one who is in that category! I believe that focusing on ways to crank start the metabolism is something that could help many of us. In fact, I did at one time follow a regime that was designed to do just that by eating small snacks every two hours, rather than having 3 meals a day. That and daily exercise. I did loose weight on it too to begin with but then it plateaued. I think it would work particularly well for younger women . As part of the normal aging processes the slowing of the metabolic rate of we older ones is natural and normal and so I believe it is a lot more difficult to get it re-activated once that shutting down process has begun.
Unfortunately , skipping of meals and not eating for long periods of time is what stuffs up the metabolic rates of most people and in this busy life it is all too easy to do that unfortunately.
Delta I too am looking forward to hearing more on this subject from you once you have received your information pack. I don't think I have seen anything of this nature advertised in NZ yet, but often we run a little behind Aussie... not in everything... just somethings, and sometimes. LOL.
