Yesterday I was all geared up to buy some new clothes. It takes me a while to get in the mood as firstly I don't like shopping, secondly I dislike fitting rooms, fitting room mirrors and the hassle involved with "trying on".
It wasn't long before I wished I had stayed home. There is a new store at Northlands Mall. Papanui Christchurch and I think it is called Agency 4 and it is located in the old BQ store. All of the clothes ( all sizes up to 26) appear to be made in Australia as the BQ labels were and there are some lovely clothes in there, until you get up to the larger ranges and the choice was seriously diminished.

I went then into the Farmers and found a jacket I liked and nothing else. The smock look is everywhere but it won't be on this old girl and I do like to wear a collar.....none to be found.

There is a new range of + sizes in The Warehouse although very little for this older woman. I did however get a Pickaberry jacket cardigan... no buttons but pockets. Darkish red colour which matches my shoes and beads and looks fine with black pants and black shirt.

I am going to Aus in Sept and will hit the shops there for my summer stuff in the hope of finding something nice. Had a quick look at the link to All Creatures this morning and love the linen pants...and will try my hand at on line shopping me thinks as my shopping trip yesterday left me feeling deflated.
