Today I went into Long Island 13 Stanley Street Sydenaham, Christchurch - you can park in the Spotlight car park. They do mail order too... check out the on line catalogue.

I've had loads of successful buys from Long Island - all online. They are terrific about taking things back, provide a bag for returns, and their sizing has improved immensely recently. Once upon a time their sleeves suited only orangatans but their new Classic Fit caters well for normal width shoulders but big tums. Very reasonably priced too.

yes, I like Long Island clothes too. I really need to try clothes on as I am never sure of my size, from one manufacturer to another!

I also like Warehouse garments, K Mart ones as well.

www.citychic.com.au is an australian company, I am not sure about online buying in NZ but if you have an australian that will forward post to you they have an awesome selection of plus siize clothing. Even better they have opened a store in Westcity mall in Aucland and have two more stores planned to open in march 2009, Newmarket and Manakau, I am told. I am a size 20 and City Chic is generous, goes up to sz 26, lots of stuff is sized in S M L, XL. Sz 20 is approx M. Go and discover this cool store with well cut clothing at reasonable prices. p.s I don't work for City Chic, kinda wish I could tho !!!
