Notice I didn't say "Dr Cohen's Diet" hate that last word. But seriously, has anyone tried his form of losing weight and was it a success. I remember many years ago my DH worked in a blood lab in the UK which tested what kind of foods affect people in different ways. There was one woman who, for some reason (don't ask my how), but she had a weight problem and they found that lettuce seemed to have a negative effect on her. She stopped eating it and found her weight started to come down. She had assumed, like most people, that eating salads instead of heavier foods would be better for weight loss. Dr Cohen's way works in a similar form where the blood is tested and they work out a food plan that is best suited to you, and you only. Quite expensive at $895 plus the cost of a blood test. Am considering it, but don't have the pennies at the moment; am sick of all this weight dragging along with me everywhere I go.
