Good evening all,
My name is Jennifer and I live in South Florida, USA. I have been diligenty looking for a site that caters to women and provides a safe forum to discuss many of this issues that some of us experience. I have found it difficult to share my feelings with people in my life because I don't think that they truly can relate to some of the thing I deal with. I am not looking for a venting atmosphere as much as I am looking for just some positive women friends. ok, and maybe some venting....
I am a single mother of two boys, one 15 and one 11, and I am 36 almost 37...ugh. I was born Catholic, adopted by a Jewish family and converted at 3, and then at 24 became a Christian. Crazy huh? I am actually of French decent, and have two multi racial children. Lots of history there.
I realize that the majority of the community is not located here. NZ - is New Zealand right? lol. Gotta look that one up on the map. but that is just fine by me. Friends are everywhere and as women I would assume it safe to say that most of us regardless of nationality or race have experienced similar issues- at least so far that is what I have read. I look forward to chatting with some of you and will start to familiarize myself with this site.
