Well hello there - I am wondering why I have not found this community before. I have been hunting high and low for a curvy girl forum and I think I have hit the jackpot (thanks google)
So I am fast talking motor mouth lol, I love to talk to women that are focused, funny and full of beans, I actually like to talk to women who aren't as I described either with the hope of converting them lol.
I have 2 boys, 9yrs and 17 months as of today and have been with my man for 10 yrs, and there is no ring on my finger YET, I told him I will be married whether it is with you or not lol... well, I am still waiting for that day. I used to kid myself and tell him I will wait till I get skinny before I get married so I can be proud of my wedding photos, I still have that hanging over my head but I seriously need to let that go.
When we only had 1 son I was working full time and we wanted for nothing in terms of material things, I then was surprised 7yrs later with the news of my 2nd pregnancy, it was a true blessing as we had been trying for years to have a 2nd baby, the docs told me to lose weight, but that was easier said than done... well I got pregs at 120kgs (eek) and the only thing I did differently was eating a handful of almonds everyday, so that may be a tip for some ladies.
So, the point of that story is, when I was at home with my new baby and both my boys slept at night, I thought to my self, what can I do to stimulate myself and to help to provide for my family?
Anyway, long story short, I started a business from home providing plus size jewellery to the curvy women of NZ. I love jewellery but I had never worn it until about 4 weeks ago when I started making my own.
I make pretty, colourful beaded jewellery at this stage and will span into other materials in the near future. I am actually going to appear in the NZ Women's Weekly soon talking about balancing home and work, and I am very anxious about that.
