Aisling Symes Case. 2 Years, 7 Months ago
I have spent hours thinking about this missing little girl and her poor parents and something popped into my head earlier today. At first I thought the Asian lady who has not come forward was probably an innocent party who paused a minute to pat the child on the shoulder as she passed. Asians do love little kids, and when my daughter was living overseas in an Asian country I did notice that they seemed to have a great fascination with small European children. Especially with their fair hair . The women used to make a huge fuss of my grandson, often picking him up and rushing off with him to show him to other in the next room, or out the back of the shop . or restaurant we happened to be in. It used to freak me out to be honest, but my daughter said it happend so much that she sort of got used to it. Anyway, the thought that has really been eating at me today, is to do with the dog. I live in a street where there are always people walking up and down , many of them walking their dogs . I know for instance that the old lab, lives in a certain house and that his master walks him at the same time most days, and that he is a grey haired old man who has been wearing shorts all winter. I know that there is an Asian lady how walks two little terriers very often and she seems to go down to the school just before three to meet her grandchildren. .
What I am saying is, that usually local people KNOW the local dogs in their street because LOCAL people walk their dogs LOCALY. Mostly, they do it regularly and at the same time of day. If no one in that street or adjacent streets recognised the description of either the woman or the dog, and could say, " Oh yes, I have seen her many times before, walking around here, then I am sorry, but I start to feel very, very uneasy about this woman . Makes me think that she was perhaps not from that area at all. You know what, there are a lot of people who notice dogs, and I am sure that any person who has owned a dog themselves would notice it too. Many little kids can also be attracted and even be enticed by cute little dogs too. jeeze, my mind has been churning over so much today, about this that I am even wondering if in fact the whole thing was premeditated and if the dog could have been used as a sort of lure?
You know what ? No adult woman of any nationality would see a little two yr old out on the road without an adult in sight and just go on walking and leave her there to be run over . Even if she could not speak the language, an adult asian woman would stay with the child and knock on the nearest door to try and find the parent. I know a lot of Asians and believe me they do care, They have hearts just like we have. That child was in immense danger as soon as she set foot off the confines of her grandparents property. WHAT was the person who reported seeing her out on on the path with the Asian lady stopping to talk to her thinking as well. ?
I would not have taken my eyes of either of them - I would have asking myself why a kiddy of that age was outside the property and in the street as she was ? I would have been out there to get her away from the traffic,
It is horrendous isn't it ? It doesn't bear thinking about, and I can't stop thinking about it. It is just not what happens in our country. This sort of thing is so very foreign to our land and I keep thinking that those poor parents probably came here in search of a better life, a good quality of life for them to raise their daughters in.
Oh I have tried praying. Didn't do much for me to be honest, and so far, certainly done nothing for the family either.
Sorry all, I know there is nothing any of us can do. I just needed to get a bit off my chest .
