LOL LJ... no, I managed to find myself some fresh clothes, and set off again to a lovely day, which ended on a much higher and happier note than the one before it. Oh, goodness, it does make a difference if you "get it right !" All the others turned up too, right on time, and we had an afternoon of lots of good humour and laughter, which we promised each other we would repeat again soon. I eventually got home around 4 oclock, replete with good food and happy memories and a vow not to make the same mistake again.
The receptionist gave me a bit of a wink as we went through the foyer and I smiled back at her, but neary a word was spoken.. ....
