You know how we all do things so automatically, without thinking? I was shopping with my #3 daughter today. We were in a place in town that's just a big old Victorian house, that has been converted into different shops in each room. There have been many additions through the years...but you get the idea.
Dana and I had lunch and were strolling from room to room, when nature called and I headed for the loo. I went inside and there were three stalls. The stalls were empty and there was a woman washing her hands. I went into a stall, sat down, just as the woman opened the door, SNAPPED OFF THE LIGHTS, and left. LEFT ME SITTING IN A PITCH DARK PUBLIC BATHROOM WITH MY PANTS AROUND MY ANKLES!!!

It occurred to me, that I wasn't in any distress really, I knew where I was, and had my bearings, but I was concerned about the next woman who walked into a black bathroom, with "someone inside".

So the minute someone walked in, I said, "Thank you for turning the lights back on. The woman who just left, flipped them off as she left." The gal was cute and laughed and it was all fine, but I did think about my post about hating public bathrooms.

Being a Lady you couldn't bellow 'thoughtless cow' after the offender. What a pity.
Nice rescue though.

Fey Hag, I have never seen you and have no idea what you look like but (don't take this the wrong way) whenever I think of you I think of Stephanie Cole in Waiting for God. You have the same acerbic wit and down to earth common sense and I think you would not suffer fools lightly. Am I close?

Gotta agree Faye and definitely support FH's comments. I might have yelled out HEY the lights ..the bloddy lights.
What a silly innatentive woman Jillie, obviously her mind was not aware you were there..that alone would bug me!! Harmph!!

I don't think anyone has ever been that kind to me.
I hope we never meet Faye; as it would all come crashing down for both of us.

I so loved 'Waiting for God.'
Don't think there is anything since, that has made me check what day it is, to watch telly..

I am just your average grumpy old cow Faye.

I do try to do better, but the worst side of me is too well honed.
