I was just having a look at the Recipe Books thread and wondered what everyone's favourite recipe is? And why? I went to an aunt's place recently and she mentioned a recipe "Chicken Peach Bake" which my mother also used to make and she said the first thing her son said to her upon his return from London was "could she please make chicken peach bake?' It consists of layers: potato crisps scrunched up a bit, cooked shredded chicken, frozen veges cooked, grated cheese then repeat a few more times. Once layers built up add a can of creme of chicken soup a bit at a time tipped into holes drilled into layers with something like a chopstick. When desired moisture obtained add another layer of chrunched up crisps and grated cheese then lay slices of tinned peaches on top and heat in 180 C oven. Yum! Havent made it in years so canfeel a Chicken Peach Bake coming on. Your turn???
