On Saturday went to work (not a normal practice) lifted 8 x 10L pails full of paint from the bench to a trolley and then from the trolley to a pallet. On Sunday morning after a bike ride I began to feel some back pain. Then on Monday morning couldnt move, I was in sooo much pain!!!

I've had lower back pain before and was going to physio for it this time last year, cant remember what I did then. But this time it seems either my tolerance for pain has lessened with age or I've done something worse than before. I'm taking codeine and voltaren and diazapam and feel a bit of relief now. Still cant stand up straight but at least I can get up off the chair with a bit more ease.

Just not used to being in so much pain and helpless and earlier hopeless as well! Glad the doc has given me a cert to return to work next Monday.
