Hi everyone
It's so cool to have found a NZ forum for Kiwi women! I've been looking for ages for a forum to connect with other Kiwi women/mums but they're all usually topic specific, ie, weight loss, etc. So it's great to find this place.
I'm 28, married and live in Auckland. I have an almost 2 year old daughter who is just the best thing in my life. I also have two stepchildren, a girl who is 14 (and is more like a girlfriend than a daughter) and a stepson who is almost 9. They're really neat kids and we get along very well. They live with us one week and with their mother the next week, etc. I'm a stay at home mum and spend my days running around after BD (birth daughter) and attending various sprog related activities, ie, playgroup, going to the park, swimming, etc.
Although I love being a SAHM, I feel I've lost my own identity somewhat and I miss having the time to do stuff that is purely for my enjoyment - as it is I've had to get up at 6am to even post this without my sprog jumping all over me lol. So yes, it's great to find this place and have something that is just for me
