well ive gone an booked my lap banding for Dec 27th, been thinking about it for some time, ive hit 50 and would like to be thinner, tried diets they work for a while then i allways put it back on. Wanted this 2 years ago and was put on that awful reductil, that nearly killed me! anyways im looking forward to wearing trousers and jeans. For christmas dinner i will be having a glass of milk and a low fat yogurt, you have to go on a stravation diet for 2 weeks before hand to shrink your liver (sounds nice) but if i cannot do that for a fortnight beforehand whats the point in having a lapband put on. I do realize many people do not agree with this type of surgery but for me its a last chance of getting thinner. My husband is paying for it, he did tell me it was my christmas present and birthday present for a few years to come!!! its a bit scary but ive been on loads of web sites and the feedback is so good, one woman had posted about her op 2 days after it was done and she felt great, but had bad wind :oops: If anyone is interested ill let you all know how it goes and how it feels.
