Did any of you watch the Inside New Zealand docmentary called 'Love on line'? If you did it showed people who have used NZ dating and other such dating sources. I was on that programme with my partner Ian.

We are from the Wairarapa and had a little segment about how I had met him on NZ dating, then caught him out after befriending him under another name(Lisa). He had confided in Lisa that he was seeing two women at once from NZ dating - SNAPPED!!!!!!!!!!. Anyway we are now sorted and happy together. I am not writing to prattle on about that saga, just thought you might remember me from that programme if you had watched it.

If you had, you would have seen that I too am a 'real woman'. When I placed my add on NZ dating I didn't have to be uncomfortable by stating that I am a big woman, because there is a convieniant box that you can tick saying that you are 90kgs or more (which I am - 110kg to be exact and 5'10" in height). This was great as it eliminated all the shallow dickheads who only look for the barbie type images, I recieved an amazing amount of responses to my add. It certainly helped boost ones confidence, as media/commercial hype indicate that unless you are a size 10-12 you are really not fit for male consumption.

Ian was the only one that I was brave enough to meet in person, and we hit it off straight away. We have been together now for 9 months and extremely happy with each other. I would probably not be with anyone now if it wasn't for this dating service as I was not confident enough back then to go to 'meeting places' and strut my stuff!
