
Ingredients
- 12 large mushrooms
- 50 gms blue or other strong cheese
- 12 rashers of bacon with the rinds removed
- 12 cocktail sticks
Method
Wash mushrooms and remove stalks.
Cut cheese into 12 cubes and place one cube in each mushroom.
Using a knife, stretch the bacon around each mushroom and secure with a cocktail stick.
Place on an oven tray, making sure cheese is uppermost.
Cook at 180 C for 10-15 mins or until mushrooms are soft and bacon is cooked and slightly crisp.
Makes 12.
